This is one of the pieces from my collection that I am contemplating cutting up. It has a number of stains on it that won't come out. The individual sections are very pretty and I think they would look good as a small wall hanging.
I love all your beautiful linens Carol. It will be a bit scary to cut it, but I just know you can repurpose it into something else of great beauty! xxoo
Well, it sure is beautiful Carol - but if you don't recycle it, will it go back in the drawer? Cut it and give it a new lease of life! Thanks for visiting me - much appreciated.
I would say go for it. Recycle the beauty into another beautiful form.
ReplyDeleteI say CUT! You can turn the pieces into something even better. Go for it.

ReplyDeleteOh you have to cut it, it would be such a shame for beautiful stitching to hide thanks to stains.
ReplyDeleteWill be beautiful - cut away!
ReplyDeleteI would say cut it too Carol as I am sure whatever you do with it will be just as beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell everyone says cut it I say don't cut it! the stains make it look like an antique.
ReplyDeleteGo for it especially if you can pretty-fy it into a wall hanging!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity to cut it! Is there no way to hide the stains, maybe by embroidering some flowers sparse on the fabric?
