I can't speak because my mouth is hanging open!! There are no words to describe these. Beautiful, awesome, wonderful just don't seem to be enough. You are truely blessed to have these treasures!!! Thanks so much for sharing.
Those are just gorgeous! I love the Filet Crochet pieces, just wonderful!
My MIL gave me some that either she had made or her mother had made. I have them carefully stored with acid free tissue paper because we have 6 cats and a 2 yr old, so I don't want to put them out yet.
What a treasure trove. I had a granny that crocheted...but the girls (other than my mom) got everything...none of the aunties ever took up handwork or sewing. I'm the only grandaughter that did.
WOW!! What a treasure trove, indeed. My husband's aunt, God rest her soul, made a set of crocheted pieces for us for our wedding. At the time, I admit I thought the purple & orange colors were an odd combo, but I treasure them. I wish I had some of my grandmother's work.
Thank you for sharing the photos of your lovely pieces. My mother was one of 5 girls. Four of them crocheted and I have some of their pieces that I treasure.
Oh those are GORGEOUS!!! I love those and I am so drawn to those neutral colors. How lucky to have inherited those! I love your birds in a tree stitchery too. That is so cute!
